18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 and 2257A Statement

Nature of the Service

BONOBONO operates an online discovery and community service that organizes, displays, links to, caches, proxies, or provides technical access to adult-oriented material obtained from users or third-party sources. BONOBONO does not commission, direct, photograph, film, or create the underlying third-party depictions merely because they can be found or played through the Service.

Records for third-party works

For a work produced by another person or company, the primary producer or other legally responsible producer is the appropriate custodian of performer identification and age-verification records. Requests for records concerning a particular work should be directed to the producer, studio, distributor, or originating service identified in that work or its source information.

BONOBONO does not identify itself as the custodian of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 or 2257A records for third-party works solely because it indexes, links to, caches, or technically transmits those works. Nothing in this statement is intended to avoid an obligation that applicable law independently imposes on BONOBONO.

User-submitted material

A person who submits material to BONOBONO represents that every depicted person was at least 18 years old when the material was created; that the submission is consensual and lawful; that the submitter has all required rights and releases; and that the legally responsible producer maintains any identity and age records required by law. Material may be removed and an account may be restricted if these representations cannot be supported.

Reporting and records inquiries

If you believe a depicted person may be under 18, do not download, copy, or redistribute the material. Follow the urgent instructions on the Reporting CSAM page. For a good-faith records inquiry about a specific item, provide the exact BONOBONO URL, title, source information, and the reason for the inquiry through the contact form or email [email protected].

BONOBONO may restrict access while reviewing an age or consent concern and may preserve relevant information or cooperate with competent authorities where required. This operational statement is not a legal determination that any particular person or item falls within or outside 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257, 2257A, or 28 C.F.R. Part 75.
